The Indian Coral Tree is native to tropical and sub-tropical regions of the Indian sub-continent, They are found widely in the Western Ghats, blooming during January to March.
The Coral is a showy tree with brilliant red blossoms and spreading canopy. The leaves are used as a cattle fodder and the tree itself is ideal for supporting pepper wine.
